ACR History Timeline

In 2014, HCI Equity Partners backed AmerCare, founded in Charleston, SC in 1987, with a vision to create a national disposables supplier with the broadest product offering and a direct sales model. 

In May of 2016, AmerCare and JRMI, two premier manufacturing suppliers of foodservice and sanitation/industrial disposables, merged.

Royal Paper, a longstanding disposables supplier merged with AmerCare to form ACR® in October of 2016.

In 2017, ACR acquired both 511 FoodService, a leading Canadian foodservice disposables supplier and The Ocala Group, a global sourcing, manufacturing and transportation container solutions for the foodservice and healthcare supply industries. ACR acquired PrimeWare, an Eco-Friendly products supplier based in California.

McNairn Packaging, a disposable foodservice packaging manufacturer serving both Canadian and U.S. markets joined the ACR family of companies in 2019, and 2021 brought the acquisition of Ross & Wallace Paper Products, Inc. (RWP), a prominent manufacturer of paper grocery and merchandise bags, SOS grocery sacks and paper roll products.

In 2023, Team Three joined the ACR family of companies. Team Three enhances ACR's direct container service footprint for foodservice and janitorial disposables. Thermosource Tooling and Manufacturing (TTM) brought integrated packaging design for custom branded packaging solutions to the ACR family of companies in 2024.

Now, as one unified brand, ACR’s extensive product offerings, solid quality assurance model, dedicated supply chain engine and top-notch customer service make us a robust single source for our customers.
